Gastric Bypass Surgery Boot Camp

workout_001I have designed this boot camp for before and after a patient’s surgery. This is a low impact boot camp that is designed to improve the patient’s flexability, range of motion, and balance. These exercises help the patient burn fat and loose weight more quickly. The cardio for this class is walking, stretching, yoga, Pilate’s exercises, lightweight lifting and resistance bands. We also play exercise games which are fun but also keep you moving. Patients will also benefit from getting better posture, lower blood pressure, increased resting metabolism rate, and stronger bones. This is different from other boot camps because patients aren’t limited to certain exercises. I play fun music while working out and you’ll make friends and gain more confidence. This is a fun and effective way to loose weight and stay in shape!!! For you convenience I can do a boot camp near your surgery center.

 

What to Bring to Class

  • 2 dumbbells-5lb. for girls and 8lb.or 10lb. for guys
